The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) - Ethiopia is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in Ethiopia. EDI is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Labor and Skills, formed by merging the UNDP-supported Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC) and the World Bank-financed Women Entrepreneurship Development Project (WEDP). Its mission is to create a vibrant, competitive, and innovative private sector in Ethiopia.
